Whiplash in Pocatello

Is Whiplash Serious or Not?
I have had a number of car accident patients come into the office here lately in Pocatello. They typically have gone to the Emergency Room, were given Ibuprophen and told it is nothing and "it will go away". I had a man come in this week who was involved in a whiplash injury in 1977 and said he had never been treated for it. When we took the x-rays severe degeneration of the bones and disc in the neck was very clear to see. How could this of been prevented? Is this an Ibuphrophen Difficiency Disease (IDD)? Chiropractic is what could of saved this neck through proper treatment and management with stretches and exercises. If someone you know has been involved in a whiplash injury have them checked out by a chiropractor so they can be helped and dont have to suffer 10 20 30 years down the road. It doesnt go away unless what's causing it goes away.
